Prussian blue is a dark blue pigment produced by oxidation of ferrous ferrocyanide salts. Prussian blue was the first modern synthetic pigment.
Ultramarine Blue
Ultramarine is a deep blue color pigment that was originally made by grinding lapis lazuli into a powder. Ultramarine was the finest and most expensive blue pigment.
Pigment Blue 27
Prussian Blue is also called Iron Blue, Milori Blue, color index is pigment blue 27. It can be mixed with all other pigments, e.g. when it is mixed with chromium yellow the result is a chromium green pigment.
Nila Blue
It is highly fast to light. Resistance to heat is >350 deg. Centigrade for 5 minutes. It is not resistant to acids. It is not soluble in normal organic or aqueous solvents. it does not have a tendency to migrate.
